"The above is an illustration of the new Established Church about to be erected in Langside. That the nucleus exists for such a church in this rapidly growing district is shown by the fact that, starting with a very few members, little more than half a decade since, in the "wee tin kirk" in Ledard Road, the congregation of the Rev.W.W.Fulton, M.D., now number 500. It is expected that the building operations in connection with the new church will be commenced within the next four weeks. The building is from designs from Mr.H.E.Clifford, 225 St.Vincent Street. The style is early English Gothic. The church is to be seated for over 900, and the halls for 700. Each building will be fitted throughout with an electric installation."
